You Can Do A Smoky Eye

When coming to doing a smoky eye, nothing can be sexier than a sophisticated smoky eye. This is especially true if youre planning to attend an evening event and you want to spotlight your eye makeup. A smoky eye adds personality, always look beautiful and stylish, and it transforms the look of the smoky eye wearer. The good thing about a smoky eye is that a more modified version can be worn in the day, but more so in the evening especially if its a dramatic look youre after. You dont have to be a skilled makeup artist to create the look. For all the ladies who have been asking how do I do a smoky eye, heres your chance to create a dramatic look like a pro.

Dramatic Smoky Eye

It is always best to start with an eye shadow base. You will need the following products: (Black Out Indelible Gel Eyeliner). Because this gel eyeliner adheres to the skin and does not crease, you can use it as your base. Youll also need a black eyeshadow (Tar eyeshadow), a flat matte eye shadow that blends well with any skin tone (Tan eyeshadow), a subtle highlighter that also blends well with any skin tone (Honey Glow eyeshadow) and a black kohl liner (Ebony Eye Perfect Automatic Liner).

What You Need

A brush to apply the black base, and one for blending the black eyeshadow (Liner/Chisel Fluff brush). This duo brush is perfect for creating a smoky eye. It saves time since one side is used to apply the black base, while the other side is used to apply the eyeshadow. A blending brush (Angle Fluff brush), and Eye Makeup Dissolving Fluid for quick and easy cleanups.

Using the flat side of the Liner/Chisel Fluff brush, dab a small amount of Black Out Indelible Gel Eyeliner on the inner portion of your lid. Following the natural curvature of your eye, blend upwards and outwards covering the lower and outer part of your lid.

Dont worry if you see some fading as you blend upward and outward. Using the fluff side of the Liner/Chisel Fluff brush, apply Tar eyeshadow and pat gently over Black Out Indelible Gel Eyeliner to set. Apply more Tar eyeshadow as needed when you blend.

Using the Angle Fluff brush for highlighting, apply Tan eyeshadow directly underneath your brow onto your brow bone. Blend towards the inner and outer portion of your brow. Here you can keep using Tan eyeshadow or use a soft sheen eyeshadow like Honey Glow. Blend the outermost edge of the Tar eyeshadow with Honey Glow eyeshadow to soften the black edges. Using the fluff side of the Liner/Chisel brush, dab a small amount of Tar eyeshadow and hold the brush horizontally against your lower lash line. Gentle brush back and forth close to your inner lash line. As you do this, clean up any excess shadow using a Qtip with the Eye Makeup Dissolving Fluid.

Line the inside of your eyes with using Ebony Eye Perfect Automatic Liner. It is water resistant, easy to use and does not smear or irritate the eyes. Start in the middle of your lower lash line and line back and forth until completely covered with liner.

Shimmery Smoky Eye

Want a shimmery black smoky look? Using an Oval Shadow brush, gently apply Platinum eyeshadow over lid and pat. You can also go back to using the fluff side of the Liner /Chisel brush and dab some of the Platinum eyeshadow and pat over your lid. Your eyes will be a bit more shimmery than before. For a typical shimmery smoky eye, you can use Bliss or White Sparkle Loose Mineral Eye Dust as your base and Tar eyeshadow to achieve almost the same look only more subtle.

Now top it off with Super Lash or Waterproof mascara and your eyes are finished. Keep cheek and lip colors to a minimum because the focus should stay only on your eyes. Use a soft blush like Sandstone and a deeper contouring color like Cocoa to dramatize features. Lips are best left in either neutral or nude shades like Femme or Nectar Super Gloss This will not destroy the look. These games bring unusual life experiences and unpredictable outcomes.
